Summer 2021 Adventures with the Dogs
This summer, our family brought along our two dogs, Maezie and Milo, on our road trip across country to Yellowstone National Park. We went from Georgia, to St. Louis to visit family, then Omaha, Nebraska which was a whopping 107 degrees upon our arrival. We next climbed the trek at Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and visited the Corn Palace. We visited the Badlands and the Black Hills in South Dakota. Finally we arrived in Cody, Wyoming which was our homebase while visiting Yellowstone. We boarded Maezie and Milo for 3 days because dogs are not allowed on the trails in Yellowstone. The hot springs, geysers, and wild animals just make it too dangerous for them. Upon leaving Yellowstone, we picked up two pampered pooches and headed to The Grand Tetons. This is where Milo took a selfie (with the help of his mom). Then we moved on to The Rocky Mountain National Park where we encountered 40 degree weather and snow in June. From Colorado, we traveled back home to Georgia. Maezie and Milo gave the trip a double thumbs up!
